Camping at Kalaloch

We went on a long weekend camping trip to Kalaloch, which is on the Olympic Peninsula. To say it was gorgeous is an understatement.  We camped in a really cool foresty area and Jordyn spent hours exploring.

She loved finding these banana slugs. Kevin and I convinced her lick it by telling her it tasted like bananas.  She didn't lick it once or twice but three times. She thought it was funny. Our girl does not shy away from critters.
Kevin hung up a rope swing for the kids to play on.

Long walks on the beach with a guy friend?

 Of course Kevin's doing
We stopped off at the Hoh Rain Forest again for some amazing hiking
The girls became junior rangers and thought it was the coolest thing in the world. Jordyn wore her badge every day for a week. They got sworn in in front of the entire rangers station.
Here they are with their badges

Sophia had an issue and needed a bath. This was the best we could do. It was 10 at night and freezing but she did not want to get out of there. Silly girl.

On the way home our car broke down in Forks. That was fun. It made it like a 6 hour trip home. We also stopped off in Port Angeles on the way back.
