Happy Anniversary Kevin!

So Kevin and I have now reached 5 whole years of being married; and to celebrate I thought I would share all the quirks about Kevin that make me love him.

1. Kevin can't eat anything that is too dry or he gets too thirsty. So everything has to have lots of sauce on it.

2. Kevin is very frugel. When out at a restaraunt he refuses to let a few pieces of meat go to waste. He goes on to say that it is like a dollars worth of meat!

3. Kevin cannot sit on a toilet seat, even at home. He has to make a toilet cover out of toilet paper before he can sit down.

4. Kevin always wears his shoes in the house and everywhere because his feet get too cold.

5. Whenever Kevin starts a story be prepared for every detail and maybe an hour later he will be done.

6. Kevin is the Princess and the Pea. He has to have perfect conditions before falling asleep. Every now and then he comments that the red dot on the smoke dectector is keeping him up.

7. Motion sickness has gotten the better of him. Some movies we go home with Kevin almost barfing. Speaking of barfing, Kevin threw up just about our entire honey moon. And speaking of sick Kevin is ALWAYS sick.

8. Kevin likes to tease everyone. He tells me stories at work about how everyone is in a big war with him because he teases them like crazy. Something to do with David Hasselhoff.
Kevin, with all of your crazy issues I still love you. Happy Anniversary!

Happy mothers day mom!

Mothers day is a little bitter sweet for me now. Infact my first mothers day I had was the first mothers day I didn't have my mom. So I think it will always be a little sad. I can't help missing her so much on this day as I reflect what a wonderful mother she was for me.
5 things I loved about my mom:

1. She was always happy even when you didn't want her to be.
2. She was such a good example and didn't shy away from letting us know when she thought we were making bad choices.
3. You could tell her anything without being judged. (Except to her journal:))
4. You could make fun of her all you want and she was such a good sport.
5. You always knew she loved you even when you were being a brat.

Now I won't lie and say she was perfect because we all know she had her faults, but I can only hope that I can be somewhat as good as a mother as she was. I should now go on now to list 5 things that make me a horrible mother but I will keep that to myself. Happy Mothers Day everyone!

5 things about Jordyn: Kid Tag

#1. I have struggled over many things with Jordyn but I have never had a problem getting her to eat.

#2. As you all know my kid has no hair and I'm dying for it to come in. So we have to pretend every now an then.

#3. Jordyn has always been a wonderful sleeper at night. When she was little she would sleep from 5pm to 7am. Now it's later but still in bed by 7:30.

#4. Jordyn and I went through a lot together when I was pregnant with her. Because I know she spent those last few months with my mom in heaven she was named after her. Jordyn Marsha Losee. I call her Marshmellow just like I used to call mom.
#5. Baby girl has to put up with a lot from her father. She takes the beatings pretty well usually. Lately I will hear terrified crying and have to yell at Kevin to cut it out. The latest: Trying to get Jordyn to ride Tank.

Lets hear 5 things about:

  1. Bailey N.
  2. Kennedy N.
  3. Tanner M.
  4. Audrey G.
  5. Owen W.
