Bestest Friends

Our good buddies the Nelson's just came out from Sac to spend a few days with us. It was so much fun and the girls were in heaven with their friends.
I love being a tourist in my city. It really never gets old.
We checked out the Space Needle and the International Fountain was a big hit.
Of course a little fish throwing at Pikes.
Carousal with a photo bomb by Brit:)

A little late night craziness. These boys are so goofy. I love how immature they both are together. Doing a little bit of magic with the girls toys. I haven't laughed this hard in a while. Wish we had a bit more time together.

Dance Recital

We just had the girls dance recital. It was so cute. A girl in our ward does it for cheap and we had the recital at our church building. It was the perfect 30 min show. Best find ever!
Sophia stood like that through all of her dance and never moved. I was very happy just to have her on stage and not crying so I say success!

They were so excited when they were done. Soph was so proud, it was cute. Love these girls.

First Camping of the Season

Why do I love camping so much? We met up with 7 other families that are our close friends at Ensign Ranch, which is the church property our here. It is one of my favorite places.  We had almost the whole campground to ourselves so the kids could go crazy. It started out so well, and ended a little not so well with some pouring rain but it was still great.

Jordo's posing for me for once.
A little horse back riding. We also did some canoeing but I didn't dare take my camera on. Sophia almost tipped us a few times. Kevin dropped Jordyn off onto a floating dock and then pretended to leave her. She was pretty nervous at first but liked it in the end.
See, we are sunny! I led Jordyn's horse and the dumb thing kept putting it's nose on my arm. I've never been afraid of horses but I didn't love having my arm practically in it's mouth.

The kids had so much fun with the tons of friends. The hammock was a big hit.
Jord playing frisbee with her daddy. She's actually got a pretty good throw.
 A little volleyball
Awesome picture of some of us girls that stayed to stick it out. Remember we are camping.

Sophia with her little buddy Ryan. They are so cute together.
Kevin trying to hang up a tarp on our last day as the rain came down. It worked pretty well. What a mess trying to clean up camp though.

A Little Walk

Here are a few pictures from a little forest walk we found. It was raining a bit but the forest was pretty thick that we didn't really notice.

Its very hard to spot but the blob in the tree is my husband. Yes, never a dull moment with Kevin. You never know what he will do next.

Ten Years

Well, we did it. We reached our ten year anniversary! We enjoyed the night with some famous garlic fries, sausages, and a Mariners Game. It wasn't a big vacation like a lot of people do but it was seriously so much fun. I love sporting events. They lost but it was a close and exciting game.

Bird Invasion

One Saturday we went to grab our plants for our garden from flower world and we were bombarded with so many ducks, chickens and geese. Me and the girls were less than comfortable with the situation. Kevin kept throwing fishy crackers right where we were standing and they would trap us in on all sides. As the girls got more comfortable with them they had fun chasing them around. What a goose!
Amazing photo by me with a finger in it.

Dead Whale

I some how let Kevin convince me to drag the girls 45 minutes away to see a dead whale that had washed up on one of our beaches. Definitely not the highlight of my life but it makes me laugh that we did that so I wanted to remember it.

Tulip Festival

Back in April we took the girls up to Skagit Valley for the Tulip Festival. It was a bit of a chilly day but the tulips didn't disappoint.
