Sacramento Trip

Kevin and I drove out to Sacramento. He stayed for a week and I stayed for 2. We had a great time. 

We did a lot of swimming and hanging out with friends. It was good to see my best friend Lindsey. 

 After camping we went to Pioneer Days

 These little ones played lots. Soph is practically swimming now after all her time in the pool.

 I went to see my mom while I was there. Jordy had lots of questions for me. I was answering questions for a half an hour about death and heaven.

It was just a bit hot there. Way too much sun for us. We went to see my dad at the temple and he gave us a tour of the outside.

 We hit up Funderland. It was pretty sweet.

 A trip to the zoo, and a little train ride. Again way to hot.

 And Fairytale Town. Plus 3 movies, lots and lots and lots more swimming, lunches and dinners out, and hanging with my fam. It was a really fun trip.

Sly Park

While we were in Sacramento we did a 3 day camping trip to Sly Park. We had this group campsite that was amazing with a boat and dock all to ourselves.

Kevin and Jordy were throwing rocks to the bats to get them to swoop down. 

 Lots of time was spent on the boat. Jord practically lived on there. She loved it so much.

 She knee boarded (very slowly) and even got up on the ski's.

 She also loved the tubing. They were really flying on that thing.

Kevin can do about one ride a day before he pukes but he attempted a couple of backflips. Almost landed it. 

Fun Cousin Time

We spent a couple of fun days with our cousins that live her. We went up to Arlington and picked some raspberries and strawberries. 

 We've been enjoying our dollar movie days this summer. Unfortunately it meant I had to sit through chipmunks.

Ocean Shores

Another fun time camping at Ocean Shores this year. We lucked out with one sunny day.

4th of July Fun

We had a great 4th this year. We started with a breakfast in the park with friends and a bike parade. The girls loved decorating their bikes. 

 Our friends invited us over for amazing smoked brisket and pork and lots and lots and lots of fireworks.

Port Angeles With My Sis

My sister Kristen came to visit us in June and we did a mini trip to Port Angeles with them.

 We went to my favorite beach ever at Salt Creek near Port Angeles. The girls had a great time playing in the water since it was so warm.

 Jordyn was so funny.  She kept chasing after her older cousins with this crab. They kept running away because they were so scared of it. Jordyn has no fear when it comes to creatures.

 Somehow Jordyn managed to catch a fish in the ocean with her hands.

Swim Lessons

We did a few swim lesson for Jordyn at the Y this year. When I went to get Sophia in for her swim lesson she wasn't having any of it. 

 So this is what she ended up doing while we waited for Jor.

Last Day of School

I actually cried on my babies last day of school. I didn't want her to be a big first grader. I'm one of those parents. Jordyn had a very good kindergarten year and did very well. I'm proud of my little girl.
