Wy Turns 2!

My baby boy turned 2 and he is sooooo crazy and such a ham. He loves Yo Gabba Gabba and trains so we had a mod podge birthday. We had his favorite meal of hotdogs.

Halloween Stuff

Halloween started its fun at my house with an impromptu kids party. Bobbing for apples, decorating caramel apples, a craft, and finding the pumpkin seeds.

 I was a road kill cat and Kevin was the car that ran over me.

Halloween Carnival at the Y. Jordyns Rainbow Dash My little pony, Sophia is a mermaid, and Wyatt is Thomas.

 Pumpkin carving night. Soph did awesome by herself. Wy played around a little with the guts. Jordy's pumpkin was just huge so she needed a lot of help.

 We went with the Shilaty's to a haunted house. It was scary but less scary for me since I forced Laura to go in the front.

 My babies at the Trunk-or-Treat. Jamie came in this day and spent Halloween weekend with us. We did trick or treating in Snohomish and of course Halloween night. Wy went out for ten minutes, Soph about an hour and a half and Jord about 2 and a half hours. We ended up with so much candy.

Happy 70th Mom

We celebrated my moms 70th with yellow balloons to heaven and a lemon poppy seed cake. 

A Few Random Posts

Jeremy and Britni came to see us for a day. We had fun hanging at the Ballard Locks.

Kayak Point

The last hurrah of the summer. We did Kayak Point on Labor day. Caught some crabs, did some kayaking, ate yummy food and hung with friends. 

Soph Turns 6!

For Sophias birthday we opted for a smaller family party. She chose to go swimming at the pool. She went down the big water slide a million times giving Kevin and I a good workout. 

 On Sophs actual birthday she got to pick out a few toys. We went to Dickeys for dinner and opened lots of fun gifts.

Back to School

We had our meet the teacher night before school started and the girls got to find their classrooms and sit in their desks.

End of Summer Fun

We had a fun day with the Landes' at Remlinger Farm.

 Went to a Mariners game with Kevins work. I didn't watch much of the game thanks to little Wy.

 Took the kids to the State Fair. They had fun watching the reptile man do his show and Wy loved the petting zoo.

Visit with Kristen

Kristen came to see us in Seattle. I felt a little bad because she ended up babysitting my kids and helping me make jam. It just happened to be one of the weeks. She was very helpful though. 

We went to the zoo and got caught in the craziest downpour. We were all running as fast as we could to the car and laughing so hard. We were soaked to the bone. 

 We also went to Pikes Market with the three of us girls. Waited in the hour line for chowder and bought some of my favorite Chukar Cherries.

Camping Trip to Rainier

We took a really fun camping trip to Mount Rainier with the Taits. We had our own little cute cabin that looked out over the lake. . Kevin caught a bat that Sophia found and managed to catch several chipmunks. 

We went up to Rainier and did an really amazing hike. The kids did the junior ranger program.

We stayed at the church camp which had unlimited access to canoes. We did a ton of exploring and found lots of little critters. 

 Our last day we did a really cool hike in Mt. Rainier National Park.

Fun with the Nelsons

The Nelsons came to visit and we had a lot of fun.  

We took them to Kayak Point to go crabbing.  Caught a lot of crabs but I wasn't watching them when I was supposed to and they all got away. Oops. Sophia and August are best friends and can't get enough of each other.  

Wy was all tuckered out.

We also went to the Blue Angels air show on Lake Washington.
