Cornbellies

Dad, Jord, and I took a trip to Cornbellies at Thankgsiving point. It was insane but still pretty fun. There were lots of things for Jordyn to do and corn mazes. The food was pretty good too. My pops is leaving today to go back to Sacto but we had a great time. Besides all the postings of this week we also saw three movies! City of Ember (ok but wierd), Mama Mia (I loved it!), and Flash of Genius (not so good). It's been a great week and I'm sad to go back to boring:(

Silver Lake

Dad, Kev, Jord and I to a drive up Big Cottonwood Canyon where the leaves were so amazing on my previous blog. The leaves were all dead this week since the freeze but it was still really pretty. We made our way over the pass to Park City and ate at a cafe that had great food and seated us outside. The weather was perfect.

Gardens

My dad has been in town visiting this week. We thought it would be fun to visit the Gardens at Thanksgiving Point. It was an amazing day. There were only a couple peope there besides us and the weather was great.

Jordyn loves to walk on paths but unfortunately always manages to fall.

Snow day

Last weekend we got our first snow. It melted a couple hours later but was fun to play in it while it lasted.

Yes, it looks like Kevin is about to pelt Jordo with a snowball, but really he is throwing it for Tank to fetch. This picture is deceaving.

More fall madness

This last weekend we decided on another drive, this time up Big Cottonwood Canyon. These pictures are at Brighton Ski Resort next to the lake. (which you cant see). The colors were the most amazing sight I've ever seen. Even though it was raining we had a great time. We made our way after this across a pass to park city where we got hot chocolate and walked around. It was an amazing day and took my mind off the fact that it was Oct. 4th and "Death Day."

Randy and Shan went with us. The kids had fun together but it was impossible to get a picture with all of them looking. This is the best we could ask for.

Fall Madness

It's taken me a while to blog this but a couple of weekends ago Kevin and I drove up Provo canyon to Sundance. The fall colors were amazing. It was 85 degrees down in the valley so when we got there we were unprepared for the low 60's. Jordyn had a great time walking around. We went and saw a waterful and she had fun playing in the water.

Craft Central

I am so domestic it's crazy! Check out all the things I've been working on this week. I even learned to sew and made Jordyn some pj pants and a new snaky for me. (If you don't know don't ask) I'm also making a cross stitch ornament for Jordo. Kevin and I bottled tomato juice and stewed tomatoes yesterday and lots of pickles and beans earlier.

Today I made a tutu for Jordyn. She's having lots of fun wearing it.
