Our Crazy Saturday

These first two aren't part of my insane day. Just needed somewhere to post them. Girls decorating the house and enjoying hot cocoa afterwards.

Ok, so our Saturday started out with us cutting down our tree. Of course in the rain. We found a really nice one. It ended up being so huge but I love it. It didn't look that big when we cut it down.
We got to hang with this cool reindeer and have hot apple cider.
After the tree we went to a local church carnival. The girls loved the sledding hill best of all. But we also got to do a cow train, pet reindeer, make gingerbread houses, and a gazillion crafts.

After that I put Soph and Kevin down for a nap and headed over to the Mill Creek Parade. By accident we ended up meeting a bunch of friends over there.

We got to enjoy lots of other things like this carriage ride, ornament crafts, train rides, cookie decorating,  santa, face painting and a million cups of hot chocolate and cookies.
This santa looks really fake in this picture for some reason.

The next day we got our tree up and decorated. Jordyn was a very good helper.
Don't be fooled. Kevin probably hung up one ornament. This was all me!
Our elf also got left on our doorstep that night. Every morning Jordyn races to find our elf. She said it's her favorite part about Christmas.  This morning he was in our fridge with our milk dyed green.
The finished product. I love my tree this year and it's still so fresh and yummy smelling!!!! Just need some presents to put underneath. Get on that people!!
