Since the sun decided to show itself a couple weeks ago we have been visiting beaches like crazy. There is nothing I love more than being close to the Sound and my girls love it too. Jordyn is obsessed with finding crabs and searching for shells, and Soph loves the sand and playing in the water.
This is actually at Silver Lake so not on the Puget Sound but still fun. It's about 5 min from my house and the sand is good enough. I knew this wouldn't end well. The kids kept getting closer and closer to the water. We went with my friend Heidi and her little boy fell in. I look over and Soph is up waist deep. It was about 6 pm and 50 degrees out so it ended with some screaming and shivering. Still fun though.
We went to Carkeek with Heidi. It was a great place. Loved it. Kids had fun doing a little hike before the beach. 
Kevin and Russ found a whole bucket full of crabs. 
Kevin's cousin Jon and his family live in Olympia. They came up for the day and we went to Mukilteo Beach. Jordyn made an instant friend with Keira. Too bad they are so far. But I'm excited to have an excuse to go south.
