What an insane week my second week in WA was. Crazy Crazy weather. It just happened to be the week Jamie was in town. We were so brave and maybe a bit nuts and didn't let it affect our week. We ended up having snow for 6 days straight. It just kept coming and it was heavy, wet, and icy. Many of you might think, so what, you are from Utah. But it's a bit different when the city doesn't plow or salt. In Utah when it snows like this it's no big deal. Here.... the city completely shut down. Kevin was off work for 2 full days and 2 half days, and schools have been closed for 4 days. The snow stopped and then the ice storms came. Tree's were falling everywhere and hundreds of thousands of people are still without power and maybe even for a few more days. The kids have been out playing in the snow every day. Today the rain started coming and we are slowing melting, but tomorrow is the big flood watch with continued rain and melting snow. Everyone says this is not normal, this never happens. How did I luck out? Ha ha.

Cool Aimbob, maybe you brought the Utah snow with you. I remember living in Oregon & having ice & snow storms & loving it when school shut down :)
