California Girls

So Jordyn and I just got back from our trip to LA/Sacramento. We had a wonderful time. The highlight for me would be the night that Jamie, Dad, and I went to see Wicked. It was absolutely amazing. We were on row F so we could see everything. We were even close enough for streamers to fall on us. It was such a wonderful night. Here are some other things we did on our trip:

This is our trip to The Getty Museum. We never actually went in. We spent most of our time out in the garden. It was such a beautiful day who would want to go in? Jordyn had a wonderful time walking the paths. In fact all she wanted to do was walk on her own.

Jamie has a really pretty beach close to her house that we went to. Jordyn had a lot of fun playing in the sand and didn't want to leave in the end. I could have used another beach day. It was so relaxing.
We had a great day at the Santa Barbara Zoo. Not the most exciting zoo but the weather was nice and Jordyn seemed to enjoy it. We went into Santa Barbara and ate at a pizza place. It was such a pretty place. Of course Jordyn loves her Grandpa. I think he was happy to see us go in the end because all she wanted to do was have Grandpa play with her.

We spent Easter Sunday at Jamie's house. She went to a lot of work and made us all Easter baskets and organized a hunt and then made a great dinner. We went to Sacrament meeting which was nice but the rest of the day wasn't that great. Dad and I had to drive back to Sacramento that afternoon and it felt like the drive would never end. No thanks to you know who down below!!!!

Kelly, Kristen, and I went to the Folsom Zoo. It is a little zoo but so much fun. The animals are always out playing and we went on this really fun train ride as shown below. They also have a park that Jordyn really loves to play on. Our swinging fear has now left us.

Our last night in Sacramento Lindsey came down to visit and us and the whole fam. went to the Tower Theatre down town and did dinner and a movie. We saw an international film called the Band's Visit. Very interesting. It was a fun night and nice to be able to catch up with Lindsey again.
So this completes my trip. We had a wonderful time and are very thankful to Jamie for all the work she went to baby proofing her house, cooking, and showing us a fun time.
