March Updates

Well, to start out the month of course is my birthday. I turned the big three-0h this year. It was slightly depressing for several reasons.

We had a great day before my birthday celebration. We took the girls to explore Seattle again. As you can see below from the picture of the space needle coming out of Jordyn's head, (I never claimed to be good at photography) we actually have blue skies. This has been very rare and it was an amazing day. We hung out at the international fountain and ate popcorn and fed the birds. It was perfect.

That night Kevin surprised me with an Everett Silvertips hockey game. It was probably one of my most fun events ever. They totally kicked the other teams arses. Let's just say I got a little into it.
The next morning (my b-day) Kevin got a call from his dad saying that his sister Andrea had been killed in an accident. Andrea and her friend were crossing the road and were struck and killed by a truck. Kevin flew out to Utah the next morning and was there for a week. He said the funeral was really nice and peaceful. I was really sad I couldn't be there.

While Kevin was away my ward really stepped it up. My partner in Activity Days took me to see the Frog Prince at the children's theater. The girls had a lot of fun with that.
My other friend took me to the park on one of those rare sunny days. I also was brought cookies and invited over for dinner which was great. Thanks to everyone!

We also managed to have ourselves a little St. Patties party. I know, shut up! I'm holiday obsessed. This year didn't dissapoint. We had a little party with my friend Heidi and family. Lots of green food, a scavenger hunt, a gold candy hunt, and sucker making. It was a really fun night.
One of our random exploring trips we found a park in Bothell. Kevin managed to find and capture two bunnies. It was pretty random, and lots of fun.


So that's about it for this month. We've been staying pretty busy with school, church, ballet, and hanging out.
